Christopher Jay is a Sydney economic journalist who is a regular writer for the The Australian Financial Review.

He is the author of several business texts including A Future More Prosperous (Tower Books, 1999) on the history of the BHP Newcastle steelworks and The Private World of Family Business (Pitman, 1996) with Graham Connolly.
