Kate Veitch is the author of two novels, Listen (2006) and Trust (2010) published in Australia by Penguin, also published in the US, Germany, and the Netherlands.

A memoir piece about her father, 'Words from memory', appeared in Griffith REVIEW 33 (online content) and an essay about photography, 'Small eye', in Griffith REVIEW 37.

She lives in Coorabell, northern New South Wales, when she's not travelling.
