Peter Todd is currently a consultant psychologist in private practice. Formerly, during the early 1980's, he was a member of the Biopsychosocial AIDS Project at the University of California, San Francisco, USA.

Subsequently, he worked as a consultant to the department of Immunology at St Vincent's Hospital and as research co-ordinator at the Albion Street AIDS Clinic, Sydney, Australia.

He is the author of papers in peer-reviewed journals and AIDS, a Pilgrimage to Healing: A Guide for Health Professionals, Clergy, Educators and Carers (Millennium books, 1992).
